HOW IT ALL STARTED….
In 2014, MOE & Co. began with a clear vision: to create a hair salon brand known for eye-catching spaces, a welcoming atmosphere, and a dedicated team passionate about delivering excellent service.
Our goal was to challenge the typical sterile salon environment by designing fun, funky, and visually engaging spaces that feel family-friendly. With a customer-first mindset, our team offers quality hair services at competitive prices, making everyone feel comfortable and valued.
At MOE & Co., we focus not just on great hair, but on education, community, and family. We invest in training and mentoring our team to build strong careers, while creating salons that serve as vibrant community hubs. Our salons welcome everyone — no appointments needed — because we believe in making quality haircare accessible and easy for all.
YOUR LOCAL MOE & Co. WE ADAPT TO MAKE YOU FEEL AT HOME
To keep things fun and vibrant, we’ve added bold neon elements throughout our salons. However, we also carefully tailor each shop’s design to suit the local area. When certain demographics dominate, we adapt accordingly. For instance, our Bendigo salon in Victoria features a patriotic Australian theme with bold wallpaper showcasing native plants and birds. Similarly, the Stanhope Gardens location in NSW uses a split layout — the women’s area is glamorous and distinct, while the classic MOE & Co. barbershop vibe remains on the other side.
Our design approach evolves with our core values of versatility and community focus. We enjoy the challenge of customizing each space to fit local needs, ensuring everyone feels welcome and at home.
SHOP DESIGN
MOE & Co. is designed to stand out. Against the subtle tones of busy shopping centres, our salons catch the eye with their distinctive style and energetic vibe. At the heart of our identity lies the iconic 90’s-inspired hero wall — a vibrant collage of posters that brings energy, nostalgia, and a unique personality to each space. This bold feature creates a genuine connection with our local community.
Originally starting as a classic barbershop, MOE & Co. has since evolved into a full-service salon that welcomes women, men, and families alike. Our design strikes a perfect balance between bold, masculine elements and soft, illuminated touches, resulting in a space that feels both confident and approachable.
By thoughtfully combining style with warmth, MOE & Co. invites everyone to walk in, relax, and leave feeling their very best.
